Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder proficient in MIG welding to join our team. This role involves laying out, positioning, and securing plasma and cut parts using a straightedge, welding in various positions, and interpreting CAD drawings. The ideal candidate must be able to lift 50 pounds and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently perform MIG welding.

• Layout, position, and secure plasma and cut parts using a straightedge.

• Weld in vertical up, vertical down, horizontal, and overhead positions.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.

• Read and interpret CAD drawings.

Work Environment

Our facility is clean, and organized, with music playing over speakers throughout the shift. PPE and tools are provided as needed, including work gloves, protective glasses, and hearing protection. Steel toes are required and must be provided by the employee. The facility has recently been updated with new restrooms, office spaces, and a paved parking lot. The shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with little to no overtime currently.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
