Honeywell Sr Technical Engineering Manager in Norcross, Georgia

The Antenna Center of Excellence (COE) has an opening for a Sr. Technical Manager to lead the Test engineering team. This position will be located in Norcross, GA and will report to the Director of Engineering for the Antenna COE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic planning and execution for test equipment design and architecture, both hardware and software

  • Qualification of hardware to MIL-STD, DO-160 and OEM specifications

  • Own Engineering proposals, schedules, budget and staffing plans

  • Supplier/Subcontract management

  • People management including goals, performance reviews, career planning

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

  • 10+ years of related engineering experience

  • 5+ years managing others

  • Must be a US Person

  • Ability to obtain a Security clearance

  • Working knowledge of RF test and measurement concepts

  • Knowledge of process for qualification of hardware
