Molnlycke Healthcare is searching for a dynamicVP of Marketing – US for our Wound Care Product Portfolio, where we help to prevent, manage, and accelerate the healing of wounds.! This role will develop and implement comprehensive business plans and strategies to help achieve our financial and business objectives. You will mentor and motivate a talented marketing team, manage a marketing budget aligned with P&L commitments, and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to create synchronized sales and marketing plans. Your expertise will guide our market research efforts and new product development, ensuring our product portfolio meets market needs and drives both top and bottom-line growth.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Planning : Develop and implement short- and long-term business plans and strategies to grow sales and profits. Focus on expanding into new market segments and launching new products, considering competition, industry trends, and consumer behavior.

  • Team Leadership : Oversee, mentor, and motivate the marketing team. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, and addressing employee relations issues.

  • Sales & Marketing Synchronization : Create and execute integrated sales and marketing plans. Understand the needs of the sales team and provide necessary tools to drive growth and profitability.

  • Budget Management : Develop, secure approval for, and implement the overall marketing budget. Monitor expenditures, compare sales projections with actual results, and take corrective actions to manage budget variances.

  • Market Evaluation : Assess potential new markets, product segments, or trade channels. Identify target consumers, competition, trends, channel strategies, product gaps, and revenue and profit projections.

  • New Product Development : Identify opportunities for new products to enhance market share, penetration, and profitability. Conduct market research, economic analysis, and coordinate with legal, regulatory, and logistics teams.

  • Project & Campaign Management : Approve plans, schedules, and budgets for marketing and brand management projects. Ensure projects meet brand image, quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and deadlines.

  • Marketing Material Oversight : Review and approve marketing and promotional materials, packaging, display designs, promotional programs, and advertising campaigns created by the team or external agencies.

  • Sales Training Development : Identify and co-develop sales training programs based on business plans, new product launches, or identified gaps in execution.

    What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of marketing experience, Sales experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.

  • High degree of creativity

  • Digital Marketing background helpful
