Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for oversight of clinical and regulatory operations to include direct and in-direct supervision of certain Clinical Services staff.

  • Responsible for oversight and performance management of the company's risk monitoring effort with focus on specific regions including but limited to the following areas:

  • Quality Measures Outcomes

  • 5 Star Initiative Outcomes

  • Best Practices Management

  • Standards of Care Outcomes and effective plans of action

  • Falls Program, Pressure Sore Program and Prevention of Weight Loss Program

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of programs, standards and policies that support the clinical practice of nursing and for effective nursing care delivery systems throughout the company.

  • Provides direction in analyzing and maintaining nursing's compliance with regulations and legislation.

  • Assesses the health care environment's influence on patient care and nursing practice in developing and/or approving policies and programs for the nursing organization.

  • Analyzes performance, celebrating successes and ensuring continuous improvement. Coaches, mentors, and acts as a role model to ensure a positive culture and excellent work environment. Is a hands-on leader who effectively engages and communicates and is a role model of excellent patient experience and leadership.

  • Provide innovative, responsible healthcare with the creation and implementation of new ideas and concepts that continually improve systems and processes to achieve superior results as well as the development of a successful management team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license.

  • Proven leadership ability with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Long Term Care as a multi-facility Regional Nurse.

  • Expertise in local, state and federal regulations pertaining to facility functions.

  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

  • Expertise with the MDS/PPS.

  • You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
