Quality Engineers, Product Excellence with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Normal, IL. Drive structured problem solving using the Rivian 5 process. Lead Cross-Functional teams while addressing warranty concerns and attribute error states. Be responsible to one of the following systems: Propulsion, Low Voltage, High Voltage, Automated Driving Assist Systems, Adaptive Cruise Control. Identify and resolve Internal Failures and External Warranty by developing work streams to resolve top issues. Provide technical understanding of issues and potential attribute impact. Provide status on investigations and containments. Validate effectiveness of product changes. Drive warranty return reduction. Support field campaign reviews and actions.\ \ RQMTS: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field and 4 years of experience in any occupation of warranty engineer or related. Experience must include: Field warranty parts management and diagnostics; working in a manufacturing environment and diagnosing issues using proved quality tools\ 6Sigma/DMAIC or Shainin Red-X; Working on multiple vehicle systems including Propulsion, Low Voltage, High Voltage, Automated Driving Assist Systems, Exterior, and Vehicle Controls; Quality systems and Processes, their development, documentation, and implementation to standards/requirements in a production environment; Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, Tableau, data analysis using Minitab and/or JMP, and working knowledge of Catia, Plato, and GD&T.
