The Maintenance Technician is Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing equipment. Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and troubleshoot using tools and manuals. Maintain logs and use a variety of hand, power, and test tools. May redesign systems and estimate costs.

A Day in the Life

This is 3rd shift - Monday - Friday, 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, weekend overtime. Shift differential included.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.

• Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.

• Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.

• Uses a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.

• May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.

• May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• High school degree or GED required

• Minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education and advanced certification in addition to prior work experience

Nice to Have

• Strong Electromechanical & Pneumatic Equipment troubleshooting

• Technical training/certification

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC, Cognex Vision and Automated Equipment troubleshooting

• Trained/Certified in Lean and/or six sigma

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
