UCLA Health GI Psychologist II in North Hollywood, California
Description
The Division of Digestive Diseases is seeking a qualified and motivated GI Psychologist to join the Integrative Digestive Health and Wellness program team. The overall mission of this clinic is to provide integrative health care to patients for their digestive disorders. Under the direction of the Integrative Health and Wellness Program Director, the GI psychologist will play a critical role in ensuring the provision of GI Psychology best practices by providing consultation and comprehensive behavioral health care in a specialty medical care setting. The GI psychologist's role emphasizes evidence-based, integrative clinical practice, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team committed to excellent care for UCLA Digestive Disease patients' medical and behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate should be skilled and experienced in providing psychological clinical services to patients with GI conditions and associated behavioral health concerns; consulting to Gastroenterologists on managing patients with GI and behavioral health conditions; and contribute to ongoing programmatic initiatives of the Division to support the advancement of integrative health care.
Target annual rate: $125,510 - $165,558
Qualifications
Required:
Skill and experience in providing psychological clinical services to patients with acute or chronic medical problems.
Skill in individual psychotherapy and group-based education and interventions.
Skill in clinical and educational writing.
Knowledge of state and federal laws and legal requirements.
PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from APA approved program
License-eligible by California Board of Psychology and 1 year postdoc experience
Preferred:
Current active license by California Board of Psychology
Clinical experience treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders
Clinical experience providing care within outpatient medical clinics (primary care or specialty care settings)
