The BridgeWay offers a continuum of services designed to help children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing behavioral, emotional or addictive problems that can lead to fractured lives. Our team of professionals includes board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrists, licensed clinical therapists, nurses and mental health associates who are here to help people reconnect with their families, friends and employers so that they may lead productive lives. The LPN/LPTN is responsible for the provision of nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the hospital as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

Licenses or Certifications: Current nursing licensure. Current CPR and Handle with Care certifications, or must obtain within three (3) weeks of hire offered onsite.

Total education, vocational training and experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

• Working knowledge of psychiatric nursing modalities preferred.

• Documented experience working with children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages 13-18), and/or adults (ages 18 plus) preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Effective oral and written communication skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette is required.2. Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees.3. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
