Primary Responsibilities:\ Project Development and Implementation (\85%)

Manage and administer the BRIDGE AR grant. This includes administration of the review process, grant agreement, approval of payments, follow up with partners/recipients, and results assessment.

Evaluate and conduct due diligence on grant implementation and assessment.

Provide direction to all institutions staff who may be assigned to assist with the administration of elements of the BRIDGE AR grant.

Develop and implement plans, budgets, and effectiveness monitoring, among other project elements.

Frequently lead the recommendation, development, coordination and implementation of project elements, policies, operating procedures, forms, templates, and materials related to the BRIDGE AR grant.

Work with the Steering Committee, AR DATA, and Arkansas Community Colleges to report grant data and information and seek advice as needed

Provide the Steering Committee, Arkansas Community Colleges, and institutions with reports, information, and recommendations regarding the BRIDGE AR.

Work and maintain a positive relationship with institutions, partner organizations, employers, and others and to facilitate broad support of the BRIDGE AR project.

Stay informed on project and any changes to the grant developments relevant to this work; inform the Steering Committee, Arkansas Community Colleges, chancellors/presidents, and provosts/vpaa as appropriate.\ Team Member and Administration (\15%)

Serve as the BRIDGE AR subject-area expert and primary point of contact for grant issues; provide advice and consultation to all staff at all institutions on related issues and activities.

Actively participate and lead team and grant-wide staff meetings.

Complete all training for the grant and train new employees at institutions if there is turnover.

Other duties as assigned by the UA-PTC Chancellor.\ Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Experience with grants management and administration, and a demonstrated ability to execute the life cycle of a grant, from application to implementation to completion, including budgetary oversight.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with a variety of people, engage in challenging conversations, and be sensitive to multiple perspectives.

Ability to work independently, be proactive and self-directed.

Skill in clearly presenting supporting facts and data justifying the rationale for specific recommendations and alternatives.

Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.

A high level of attention to detail.

Ability to create, monitor and adhere to a fiscally responsible budget.

Excellent written, oral communication, and public speaking skills.

Ability to present and explain project information in plain language institutions, partner organizations, Arkansas Community Colleges, Steering Committee, and others

Proficient in standard office procedures, software, and communications technology. Ability to effectively and efficiently use Microsoft Office, Google-Suite, and standard communications platforms. Experience with grants management software platforms preferred.

Ability to ensure compliance with DOL policies, and state, federal and local requirements.
