Abiomed Europe GmbH, Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Manager of the Advanced Clinical & Innovation Training Team , located in Europe.

The Manager of Advanced Clinical and Innovation Training will lead an international team of Advanced Clinical Trainers. They will work closely with the Field Clinical Training Manager. This role will lead the strategic planning, implementation, and delivery of new training programs, new products, product enhancements and new indications. They will ensure collaboration with interdepartmental teams to align on product innovation, best clinical practices, and customer needs to improve patient outcomes and heart recovery!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Associate Director of Training Education EMEA APAC to recognize and establish new best clinical practices, voice of customers, advisory boards, product enhancement and new indication launch strategies within the team and markets.

  • Ensure clinical support together with Field Clinical Training & Development team.

  • Identify, coordinate, and launch new customer trainings and curriculum development.

  • Clinical support for voice of customers (VOC) and innovation suites at international congresses.

  • Coordinate continuing education as needed for Abiomed Field Team together with Field Clinical Training Manager.

  • Develop and roll-out Focused Intensive Training Topics (FITT) for EMEA APAC customers.

  • Coaching and professional development for direct reports.

  • Create and manage team budget.

  • Review and approve clinical and clinical marketing content.

  • Proactively develop training and messaging initiatives for launches together with Product Management.

  • Align with global partners to standardize advanced training initiatives.

  • Demonstrate Abiomed’s Principles, Abiomed’s Operating Procedures, and Johnson & Johnson’s Credo.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Successfully serve a minimum of 1 as year Advanced Trainer or have Abiomed Field Team management experience or have previous 5 year Abiomed field team experience.

  • Two interdepartmental team referral letters required.

  • Demonstrate sales team collaboration through previous partnerships and activities.

  • Minimum of consecutive Strong/Strong (Code 2) on year-end EMS.

  • Complete Abiomed product portfolio experience.

  • Display enhanced leadership and team building attributes.

  • Viewed as a Clinical subject matter expert in current role.

  • Desire to impact patient outcomes globally!

  • Must have a keen sense of prioritization, organization, flexibility, and time management to ensure maximum effectiveness of self and the team.

  • Possess executive communication skills and high level of professionalism.

  • Ability to influence teams in a constructive manner.

  • Advanced proficiency with productivity tools and portal technology a plus (Veeva Vault, Salesforce, Tableau, Workday, SharePoint)

  • Ability for 75% travel
