In April 2020, our Company announced plans to consolidate our New Jersey campuses into a single New Jersey headquarters location in Rahway, NJ in 2023 and 2024. Therefore, this role will be temporarily based in Kenilworth, NJ and exact timing of the departmental move to Rahway, NJ will be communicated at a future date.

Additionally, antibiotics are a vital part of surgical and medical procedures, reducing the risk of post-surgical infections and ensuring successful outcomes. Antibiotics are crucial for global public health.

Our Company has a proud legacy of nearly 100 years of bringing antibiotics to patients. This legacy continues with a portfolio of infectious disease and hospital products. This portfolio delivered nearly $4B to the organization in 2023.

We are seeking a leader to take the position of the Associate Director Global Marketing, who will be responsible for maximization of the late lifecycle Antibiotics/Antifungal portfolio.

Main responsibilities include engagement with key markets to evaluate opportunities for growth and expanded access for patients, lifecycle and LOE planning, and ensuring reliable global supply through close collaboration with our Manufacturing Division.

The appointed candidate will represent the commercial organization’s interests in Product Development Teams (PDT) and Value Chain Management Teams (VCMT).

Reporting to the Antibiotics Global Brand leader, the selected candidate will join the Global Antibiotics Marketing team and also have the opportunity to support some of the broader initiatives within Antibiotics as well as the Infectious Disease organization. This role provides a unique opportunity to serve as a GBL (global brand lead) and gain unique and valuable experience.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the lifecycle of a portfolio of products and evaluate late lifecycle opportunities

  • Support filing of new indications and other regulatory requirements, such as pediatric filings

  • Cross-functional collaboration: foster strong collaboration with global cross-functional /divisional teams, including Global Medical, our Manufacturing Division, Finance, our Research & Development Division, Market Access and Policy

  • Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment

  • Market Engagement: Engage with key markets and Regional Commercial Leads to monitor supply, contracting and tender opportunities

  • Maintain strong level of collaboration with our Manufacturing Division colleagues to inform short and long-term supply chain decisions

Education:

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years combined marketing, sales, marketing operations or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, both within our Human Health Division as well as cross divisional, including our Research and Development division

Preferred:

  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex data and create clear patient and customer centric strategies

  • Focus on Results: Driven, results oriented thinking and corresponding high level of performance

  • Innovative Thinking: Demonstrated ability to leverage innovation to drive results

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected salary range:

$135,500.00 - $213,400.00
