    The Director of Education Operations will be responsible for leading a team in the implementation and operationalization of high-quality early childhood education programs, as well as the processes and systems needed to demonstrate impact to the business success of schools. The Director will provide direction and oversight for educational programs aligned to revenue goals, such as summer camp and enrichment programs. The Director will lead the successful implementation of Education Department initiatives through such activities field research, focus groups, data collection and monitoring.

    Essential Functions:

  • Lead the implementation, monitoring and sustainability of educational programs across all schools.

  • Work with internal IT, Marketing, Business Development, and Operations departments to ensure appropriate coordination and execution to maximize company revenue, enrollment, and retention goals. Position LCG in a competitive and leading role in promoting positive outcomes for all young children.

  • Manage programs such as Enrichment and Summer Camp to ensure profitability, strategic deployment, inventory control, etc.

  • Work with senior leadership to vision, set goals and monitor progress of the organization.

  • Lead the analysis and strategic planning around data collection and education content systems.

  • Manage the development of business proposals for education initiatives and projects, including the strategy, goals/objectives, investment, and value proposition to the company, along with overall FY strategic planning (capital and expense) for the Education Department.

  • Develop and adhere to annual budget for department. Work with Finance, IT, Marketing and Operations departments to ensure appropriate coordination and execution to maximize financial objectives.

  • Provide direction, set expectations, and hold team members accountable for agreed-upon goals and deliverables.

  • Build and sustain strategic partnerships with business partners, vendors, and organizations.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position will have direct reports.

    Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (required) in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Doctorate preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of people management, providing direction, feedback, coaching, mentoring, and holding the team accountability for results.

  • At least 5 years of experience creating, managing, and implementing large early childhood education programs.

  • Must have multi-unit leadership experience.

    Other Skills and Abilities Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external customers.

  • Capable of working with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

  • Exceptional communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal.

  • Proficient time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet established deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams, work cross-functionally and think both critically and strategically.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand financials and build business cases to support investments and project developments.

  • Experience in budget management, project management, and process building and flows.
