What’s the role?

We are excited to offer a full-time, permanent position for a Business Analyst within our dynamic Platforms and Projects team. The successful candidate will report to a Delivery Manager (1 of 4) within the Platforms and Projects team. Together the Delivery Manager and BA work as a team with all parts of the broad Client Partnership organisation to

Analyse existing tech capabilities and operational processes to demonstrate where the greatest opportunity for tech capability enhancements exist

Shape ideas from high level business improvement concepts through to more rigorously thought through and defined initiatives that can be assessed for financial viability

Deliver prioritised tech capability enhancements projects into operation to ensure the business outcomes sought materialise post implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with all departments within Client Partnerships to carry out

  • Existing process mapping, analysis, opportunity identification and reengineering

  • Data analysis to qualify and differentiate value between opportunities

  • Collaborate with Business Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts to define, develop, and document Business Requirements and Acceptance Criteria.

  • Work closely with TDD (Technology team) to

  • Act as the Business Single Point of Contact for TDD representing all business needs

  • Ensure the Tech capability that gets delivered aligns to the tech capability required by the business

  • Support Development and Testing processes as required.

  • Provide transparency to management via succinct reporting at a business level of

  • Priorities, plans, status v plans, issues, risks, opportunity areas and associated values

Who are you?

Excellent Team Player with the Following Skills

  • Strong relationship skills and ability to elicit information to provide clarity of current state, opportunities and target state

  • Experience in capturing and documenting requirements.

  • Proven ability to think creatively and find solutions when conflicts arise.

  • Effective stakeholder management experience, including liaising between Business & IT functions.

  • Familiarity with project and service delivery cycles, with the ability to adapt approaches to achieve timely, quality solutions.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to assess impacts of implementing change on other areas of Business.

  • Experience using the Atlassian Tools, Jira and Confluence as well as Salesforce CRM will be to your advantage.
