About Our Team
The Global Testing Engineering Team is focused on Lenovo Server, Storage, HPC products, and E2E test process development and provides global manufacturing site support. When a new project kicks off, our team will be involved and discuss with the development team new product features and how to support Mfg. Perspective: We design product test codes and processes based on product specifications and release test solutions to global Mfg. Sites. Meanwhile, we will regularly communicate with global Mfg. Site engineers how to improve test efficiency and optimize the test process. We have more than three main Mfg. The site is in China, Mexico, and Hungary. In the USA and Brazil, we also have two factories to support local businesses. Because we are a global team, different cultures will make us successful; we like differences. What You’ll Do
Responsible for leading mfg. Test engineering process development for the ISG portfolio including supply chain execution and new product introduction. Water cooling test code development and high-performance computing Mfg. Test process/code development and deliver.
ISG Mfg. Redmine data and Interrupt rate selecting and analysis, drive function team to provide preventative actions.
ISG NPI early mfg. involvement, NUDD identification, test plan development, Responsible for DFT, ensuring products are designed to minimize the manufacturing cost and align with process capability without compromising quality commitment ·
SG Sustaining product maintenance and developing new RMK features.
Global mfg. test process/roadmap development, Mfg. test process standardization, continuous improvement & optimization
Provide Mfg. site execution/EOQ onsite technical support.
Global Mfg. Testing Engineer automation/innovation
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science and technology or relative area.
Minimum of 5 years of product test development experience. PC/Server/Storage is preferred.
Strong understanding of manufacturing test environment and test process.
Must have strong communication skills and an ability to influence design team decisions.
Expertise in programming automation and data collection/analysis.
Demonstrated experience solving complex technical problems with minimal assistance.
Server system HW &SW knowledge, SW programming skill, Python, MFG test knowledge, Ramdisk building skill based on Linux Kernel, Network Infrastructure knowledge including InfiniBand and Ethernet high speed network, Parallel computing knowledge.
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
Fully understanding mfg. Test process, especially for the Server. Storage and notebook are preferred.
Positive attitude and strong ownership.
Water cooling and network including switch technology is preferred.
