Property types we cover include warehouse, manufacturing and distribution facilities, cold storage facilities, industrial outside storage sites, as well as build to suit sites in primary, secondary and tertiary markets nationally.

In 2023 our team (National Partners – North Central) successfully completed 37 transactions totaling 23.9 million SF with an aggregate value of $2.423 billion. Our team worked on transactions as small as $5 million and as large as $1 billion across the United States.

National Partners – North Central is seeking a Sales and Marketing Analyst that will be an integral part of this team and will report directly to the teams’ partners. This person will be involved in all stages of a transaction from the request for proposal through the coordination of due diligence and closing of a transaction. It is important that this person be able to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a high-energy environment. Greater details on various responsibilities are listed below:

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with a team of brokers with a combined 85+ years of experience in the industry to plan and execute sales campaigns for primarily industrial assets on a one-off and portfolio basis, with specific focus on Chicago and other Midwest markets

  • Prepare proposals, offering materials, memos and presentations for assignments and pursuits utilizing effective work planning.

  • Develop written executive summaries for individual property marketing materials or multiple property portfolios.

  • Research and develop written summary of individual or multiple tenants in buildings that are being marketed.

  • Conduct property tours and market tours with clients

  • Research demographics, market trends, and additional market information as needed for project specific deliverables.

  • Manage the due diligence process and be the driving force in working through the marketing and closing processes for each transaction, and be in constant communication with the team, the market and the Client.

  • Work directly with clients – equity funds, REITs, institutional advisors, life companies, and family offices (both external exposure and internal CBRE exposure) – establish and nurture relationships with clients to ensure all aspects of a deal are met

  • Bachelor’s Degree with exceptional academic credentials

  • 2-4 years of work experience in Commercial Real Estate

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables

  • Ability to work independently and within a team on a wide variety of projects

  • Ability to work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workload

  • Comfort with handling multiple projects at once and ability to move quickly between deals

  • Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software
