We are on the lookout for a Project Manager - Procurement System Implementation for our health insurance operations in Oak Brook, Illinois. The role involves a significant amount of project management, stakeholder liaison, system integration, process enhancement, training, and reporting tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP Ariba integration process, collaborating closely with IT teams to ensure smooth data flow.

• Plan and execute procurement system integration projects, adhering to strict timelines.

• Develop comprehensive project plans and related communication documents, supporting business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Liaise continually with project stakeholders, managing their expectations of the project.

• Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts within the project team.

• Conduct system testing and validation, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.

• Identify potential improvements in procurement processes and systems, implementing best practices for system integration and management.

• Develop and deliver training programs for system end-users, ensuring that all system documentation is up-to-date.

• Track project milestones and deliverables, creating and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

• Document project outcomes and lessons learned, providing recommendations for process enhancements and efficiencies.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the health insurance industry

• Proven track record of successful system implementation, particularly in procurement

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Familiarity with P2P procurement processes and best practices

• Experience in using SAP Ariba for procurement management

• Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, or related field is preferred

• Detail oriented certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2 etc.) is advantageous

• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to travel as needed for project work.
