what you will do…

The Project Manager position has responsibility to work collaboratively with clients and project team for the coordination and completion of projects. The position will be onsite at a federal facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Local candidates will be given priority.

** This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

Project support is required to enable Research efforts. The following requirements are needed for the Project Manager to execute over a 12-month period.

• Assist with weekly status update to Office of Secretary Defense customer that includes PowerPoint Presentation (60 minutes) that outlines technical progress for the week; planned events; issues; and or concerns.

• Assist with Quarterly Report that includes Technical Report for the quarter, (average 30 page report) quarterly cost report, invoice tracking for Department of Defense, schedule, and procurement updates.

• Assist with Overall day to day project management tasks for ACE Team and Sub-Teams.

• Assist with procurement of materials and equipment developing Statements of Work.

• Monthly evaluation of manpower projections and personnel tracking.

• Financial account reporting and account reconciliation.

• Schedule tracking and projections based on R&D tasks and new initiatives.

Requirements:

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant certifications, training, and/or licenses in Business Administration, Government, or related field. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.

• Will need to function as a professional consultant and seek to grow the business.

• Ideal candidate will be able to complete the project management role as well as handle client interfaces. We are seeking a mature project manager capable of handling the execution of a project while forward-looking into the next opportunities with the same client, or similarly positioned customers.

• Proficient user of MS Office applications (intermediate user of MS Excel and PowerPoint).

• Advanced level understanding of PM principles.

• Strong analytical/problem resolution skills.

• Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.

• This is an on-site position in Oak Ridge, TN. Local candidates will be given priority.
