Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for supply chain management? Robert Half is seeking a Supply Chain/Logistics Manager to play a key role in connecting sellers, suppliers, shipping vendors, and customers, ensuring products arrive at their destination on time. Responsibilities:

• Handle and supervise the storage and distribution of goods across multiple locations.

• Collaborate with the Shipping Coordinator to ensure timely pickups and address any carrier failures.

• Investigate and resolve shipping errors in conjunction with the Shipping Coordinator.

• Manage return shipments due to overages or customer refusal, and process returns and claims as required.

• Coordinate special shipments when required and build relationships with freight carriers.

• Regularly negotiate shipping rates and contracts with carriers.

• Set up and maintain schedules for inbound and outbound shipments with approved carriers.

• Utilize logistic software and IT systems to streamline operations.

• Coordinate and control the order cycle of deliveries with the Purchasing Department.

• Evaluate the quality of previous deliveries and identify areas for improvement.

• Manage resources within the supply chain, providing solutions for any inefficiencies.

• Resolve any arising problems or complaints efficiently.

• Monitor KPI reports to enhance on-time shipment percentages.

• Stay up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes, and rates, particularly changes affecting transport time and costs.

• Collaborate with various departments to implement logistical improvements.

• Utilize skills in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Service, KPI Reporting, Logistics, and Manufacturing.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of two years of experience in the field of Supply Chain Management or related roles within the Engineering industry

• Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools and software, demonstrating the ability to optimally manage resources within the organization

• Excellent customer service skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams

• Demonstrable experience in KPI reporting, with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present data in a clear and concise manner

• Strong knowledge of logistics, including transportation, inventory management, and warehouse operations

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and the ability to align supply chain strategies with production requirements

• Should be able to develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and meet organizational objectives.
