This is a job for an IT Support Manager onsite position with the company located in Ocean Springs, MS area.

Job Summary: Our dedicated Support Team provides continued service delivery for hardware support in a professional, effective manner. The role of IT Support Manager is critical in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, technical support quality, and team performance. This in-person position is responsible for managing daily operations, providing technical expertise, and leading the Support Team to resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities: Lead and manage the IT Support Team including providing guidance, coaching, and ensuring performance levels are met. Oversee the delivery of excellent customer service to our internal and external customers including the prompt and professional resolution of issues and queries. Provide advanced technical expertise and support for hardware issues and network-related problems; regularly troubleshoot complex issues; develop best practices for efficient technical support. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware equipment such as computers, servers, printers, and peripherals. Process improvement and documentation including developing SOP's and analyzation of support metrics to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery; collaborate with other company teams to implement new projects and initiatives. Communicate effectively and timely with senior management when providing updates and reports on support operations and performance. Manage the IT Support budget, monitor expenses, and evaluate performance of new hardware and support tools for cost benefits and savings opportunities.

Qualifications: Earned bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Computer Science, or another related field. Five plus years of experience in IT support, with at least two years in a managerial role. Strong technical knowledge of hardware and networking systems. Excellent customer service skills: ability to resolve conflicts; eagerness toward finding solutions to help the end user. Proven leadership and team management skills. Effective communicator; strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Ability to thrive under pressure while handling multiple priorities. Proficiency with MS Office tools and MS Teams. Ability to live within a commutable distance from Ocean Springs, MS.
