Special Education Teacher Positions located in Oceanside.
A special education teacher is needed in one of our multi age, multi grade classrooms to provide a dynamic, student-focused, and project-based approach to teaching. Our teachers work in a small, structed collaborative setting with other professionals to meet the needs of the students we work with.
Range: $62,000 - $72,000 Annually Based on experience and education
Schedule:M-F 8:00 am - 4:00pm
**Our school is only closed on major holidays, for 1 week during winter break, and for 2 weeks during summer break. Our Extended School Year schedule is a full day rather than the more typical half day.
Requirements:**Moderate to severe credential in special education or be intern or PIP eligible plus a min. of 1 year directly related experience, acceptable driving record and criminal history background check.
Minimum position requirements:
- 1-year prior administrative work experience.
- Proficient to advanced skills with MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- High school diploma/GED. Advanced education preferred.
- Highschool diploma/ GEDis desirable.
- Criminal background check required.
- Acceptable Driving History.
