Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Odessa, Texas

Description We are in need of a meticulous and organized Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Odessa, Texas. This role primarily involves setting up travel arrangements for interviews, coordinating onboarding for HR staff, and providing support to the Training Department. The successful candidate will offer a contract to hire employment opportunity and will be instrumental in the administration of HR processes in our telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange travel logistics for interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all involved parties.

• Coordinate all onboarding activities for HR staff, which includes setting up drug screenings, background checks, and orientations.

• Communicate effectively with new hires, providing them with necessary information and support during their onboarding process.

• Provide assistance in HR Craft Onboarding as necessary, ensuring all new employees are well-integrated into the team.

• Support the Training Department by creating ID cards for training purposes.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to contributing to the team's goals.

• Utilize skills in Human Resources (HR) Administration to streamline processes and improve HR functions.

• Effectively handle Drug Screens and New Employee Orientation, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role or similar field

• Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Familiarity with conducting Drug Screens

• Experience in coordinating New Employee Orientation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
