Weber State University Botany Buds Peer Mentor in OGDEN, Utah
Peer Mentors within the Braiding Opportunities in Training,Advocacy,and Networking for Young Scientists (BOTANY Scientists) program are essential team members assisting current and future Botany and Plant Ecology students as they acclimate to WSU and a STEM (Science,Technology,Engineering,Mathematics) major. BOTANY Buds peer mentors will be responsible for the following essential job functions:supporting the success of assigned mentees by providing intentional mentoring on a one on one and small group setting in the following topic areas:Navigation of campus resourceTime managementSTEM identities/ Connection to campus and communityPreparation for graduation and beyondContribute to a friendly and supportive Botany and Plant Ecology communityAttend BOTANY Buds Mentor Program Social Events
