SERVICE EXPERTS LLC Office Specialist III - Spanish Speaking in OGDEN, Utah

JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the WIC Office Manager and WIC Director. Provide basic assistance as follows: Collect and record height, weight and hematocrit/hemoglobin. Collect documents relating to income, address proof and identity of clients to determine eligibility services. Complete reports and perform support duties associated with record keeping for WIC.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Schedule appointments for clients; ensure appointments are scheduled within required time frame; instruct clients on what they will need to bring to the appointment; document appointment attendance.
Complete computer intake process; verify income, proof of address and identity.
Measure and document height, weight, head circumference and other anthropometrics of women, infants and children.
Utilize strict infection control techniques when conducting hemoglobin finger poke sampling; dispose of blood contaminated lancets and materials in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Clean and sanitize areas of the clinic that have been contaminated. Clean and sanitize lab and equipment at the end of each shift and in between clients.
Maintain required documentation of cleaning procedures performed.
Issue WIC food benefits on the eWIC card per policy.
Perform data input related to office functions.
Receive and screen office vis itors and telephone calls.
Work effectively as a team member with other members of the division and department staff.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school graduation or equivalent.
Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in Clerical Work or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA):
Knowledge of: Standard office practices and equipment. Professionalism and confidentiality. Basic first aid.
Skills and Abilities to: Exceptional customer service; word processing and data entry. Proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Reading, writing and basic math. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Type accurately and at an acceptable rate, based on job duties.

Bilingual in English and Spanish languages preferred.
