The Ethics, Equity, and Inclusion team seeks a detail-oriented Ethics and Employee Relations Investigator. In this role, you will conduct independent and comprehensive investigations and analyze and apply company policies and procedures alongside relevant laws. The goal is to promote fair and ethical workplace conduct and achieve unbiased outcomes that effectively address the issues of all stakeholders.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

General responsibilities with standardized processes. Works under limited supervision. Resolves routine questions and problems. Refers the more complex issues to higher levels. Follows established procedures to accomplish requirements of job. Some latitude for deviation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work collaboratively with Human Resources Business Partners, Internal Audit, Legal Counsel, and business unit leaders to ensure investigations are conducted fairly and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Stay up to date on best practices for conducting workplace investigations.

• Conduct confidential investigations into various ethics and employee relations issues, such as discrimination and harassment, retaliation, bullying, workplace violence, ethics violations, and policy breaches.

• Gather and analyze evidence through interviews, document review, and other investigative techniques.

• Prepare comprehensive and well-documented reports with findings and recommendations for appropriate action.

• Maintain clear and concise records of all investigative activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Ethics, Equity, and Inclusion Team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, criminal justice, or related field AND three (3) years’ experience conducting ethics and employee-related investigations.

• -OR-

• High School Diploma and seven years of progressive human resources experience in employee relations WITH three (3) years of direct experience investigating and advising on ethics and employee-related matters.

WORKING CONDITIONS

SALARY RANGE

$64,272 - $85,696
