Description

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable Network Administrator to ensure computer systems and network devices are running smoothly. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, overseeing, and upgrading our network systems, including servers, desktop hardware, and mobile equipment. A strong understanding of network infrastructure and the ability to manage and maintain both on-premise and cloud systems efficiently is crucial for this role. Responsibilities: Installation, configuration and administration of network systems. Troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling network upgrades. Collaborating with network architects on network optimization. Securing network systems by developing and applying necessary policies and protocols. Ensuring network connectivity throughout the organization's LAN/WAN infrastructure is up to the company's requirements. Defining and monitoring access controls and network security features. Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required. Maintaining and upgrading hardware, software, and operating systems as needed. Training team members on new hardware or software as needed. Providing technical support and guidance to users.

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. At least 3 years experience in network administration or a similar role. A strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols. Experience with network applications, OS and hardware. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are a plus. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms. Knowledge of system backup and recovery procedures. Any experience in information security will be highly regarded.
