Boeing Global Services is seeking a Senior B-52 Manufacturing Support Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK.. This exciting role will working directly with the B-52 Air Force Customer, dealing with parts manufacturing, technical requests from the customer, working 339s as they come in, working with Boeing Engineering teams, and the customer to solve complex issues.

This hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the Oklahoma City location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies advanced engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, techniques and approaches to support product support engineering and analysis to ensure supportability, operability, sustainability, reliability, maintainability and operability of products and services throughout its lifecycle.

  • Reviews product definition, design and configuration.

  • Defines, evaluates and maintains engineering supportability and maintainability requirements for products, systems and programs of advanced complexity.

  • Leads analysis of data to produce support, flight operation and maintenance equipment requirements.

  • Oversees the evaluation of engineering changes based on customer requirements and proposes program changes and manages implementation of changes.

  • Manages, plans, researches, develops, analyzes, and designs modification and repair solutions that comply with customer, regulatory, safety and company requirements.

  • Leads planning and design criteria identification to develop innovative, integrated support and maintenance infrastructure.

  • Ensures continued airworthiness.

  • Coordinates engineering and on-site technical assistance to customer’s products including ground support equipment, training devices, training facilities, operation facilities and maintenance facilities.

  • Reviews and supports proposal development.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Microsoft word Suite

  • 5+ years’ experience with Boeing and Air Force Manufacturing engineering processes and procedures

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years in B-52 program in some capacity

  • 5+ years working with Engineering teams

  • 5+ years reporting to higher level customer and Boeing management

  • Experience in commodities

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation, depending on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 100,300 – 135,700
