Scope of Position: In this role, you will be reporting directly to the Plant Quality Manager. This position focuses on product documentation review and release, project support, calibration coordination and liaison between the Plant and key stakeholders. We look for you to work closely with other functions within the organization (Engineering, Operations, Development and Procurement) and be responsible for driving an improved Customer experience with our products.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Ensure product is tested and documentation is complete to support product release

  • Coordinate plant calibration control activities

  • Perform and review environmental monitoring of manufacturing areas

  • Support customer and regulatory audits

  • Perform internal audits

  • Responsible for reporting, metrics and periodic review of data/issues

  • Support applicable plant projects

  • Support plant safety programs to provide a safe working environment

  • Achieve applicable department requirements for safety, quality, product release and cost

Travel Requirements: Less than 5%

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40+ hours, Monday – Friday. Standard business hours. Support for production day shift as required. Occasional off-hour support needed.

Required Education/Experience: Two year (Associates) + 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment OR High school diploma + 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment

Required Skills:

  • Flexibility to multitask and prioritize work on an independent basis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Excellent cross functional communication skills

  • Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Desired Skills:

  • Previous Quality Control experience in a manufacturing or technical function

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Good Manufacturing Practices

  • Experience with procedure and work instruction development

  • Experience with internal and external auditing

Soft Skills:

  • Flexibility to work within a dynamic team and provide training to others

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work effectively on all levels of an organization

The range for this position is $54,362.00 - $74,748.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
