Performs financial analysis and participate in special projects for assigned departments. Contribute financial and strategic support to various business teams.Key AccountabilitiesEssential Functions:Analyzes sales, gross margin, and/or operating expenses by product line.Participates in the annual audit process.Participates in the annual budget process for assigned departmentsProvides financial support to the assigned departments as needed.Interprets financial operating results and make recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.Proactively reengineers processes and procedures to reduce time/cost/rework and/or increase accuracy/quality.Continually enhances the quality, reliability and responsiveness of the information provided.Participates in ad-hoc financial projects as required for timely and effective decision making.Secondary Functions:Other duties as assignedBudget managed (if applicable)N/AInternal Networking/Key relationshipsTo be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:VP & Directors of assigned departmentsFor Operations support: Production Line and Line SupervisorsFor Commercial: Field Personnel and Client ServicesInformation TechnologySkills & Capabilities:The ideal candidate for this position will exhibit the following skills and capabilities:Ability to analyze and interpret dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing prioritiesMinimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent experience.Experience:One to three years of experience in a business environmentExperience with an ERP database system preferredAdditional Skills/Knowledge:Working knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of accounting and financial reporting.Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft ExcelLanguage: Fluency in English requiredInternational Mobility:Required: NoTravel Requirements:Up to 5% of timeIf you are interested in constantly learning and being challenged on a daily basis, we encourage you to submit your resume or CV.The annual salary range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $75,000 to $85,000. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
