Lockheed Martin Engineering Project Manager / HYBRID TELEWORK in Orlando, Florida

THE WORK

Product Team Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for the Naval Maintenance Repair Overhaul (N-MRO) Program. Partnered with N-MRO Program Managers, the EPM will be responsible for planning and execution of technical scope including risk/opportunity management, future proposal technical solution and estimation, technical operations, and interface with N-MRO Customers, Users, and other stakeholders.

Accountable for overall engineering technical, cost and schedule performance. Responsible for identification and closure of technical issues. Meets/Exceeds all technical commitments made to the programs. Tracks Estimated time to Complete/Earned Value Management (ETC/EVM) Metrics to monitor program performance and identify technical or Tech Ops staffing risks, while managing cost/schedule.

Ensures requirements baseline in documents, tracked, maintained, and verified. Ensures establishment and tracking of key Technical Performance Measures (TPM).

Provides timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements.

Works with Program Management (PM) to ensure staffing demands are up to date. Works closely with first and second line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing, coordinates with the PM office and first line managers on proposed engineering staffing changes prior to changes.

Works with PM to ensure organizational standard processes are adapted, approved and followed. Leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry. In concert with the LOB and/or Market Segment Chief Engineer, ensures program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to effectively present to program leadership, business leadership and customers

• Experienced strategic thought leader with proven experience developing and executing cost reduction strategies

• Possess demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership qualities and behaviors leading diverse teams

• Demonstrated ability to develop execution strategy and translate into tactical execution

• Experience leading the Generation of Basis-Of Estimates (BOEs) and providing proposal support

• Must have the ability to travel domestically and international

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (US citizenship is needed)

Desired Skills:

• Possess strong Agile and DevOps implementation experience

• Knowledgeable of Military Logistics and Sustainment

domain - specifically Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)

• Demonstrated expertise in engineering processes with a focus on software development and sustainment

• Experience delivering systems to cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
