How You’ll Make an Impact:

As a Lead Consultant, you are at the center point to develop and shape our grid consulting business. You provide strategic advice on the application of latest technologies to customers and guide them through their transition in entering new markets.

Being a senior advisor to customers and the organization, you support throughout the opportunity development and bidding process, including the evaluation of potential opportunities, shaping and defining our consulting scopes & services with Customers up to proposal development, and negotiation.

  • Guidance on New Technologies and Markets:

  • Forge strong partnerships with governmental &regulatory bodies, associations, industry leaders, and key stakeholdersto position Siemens Energy as a trusted partner for grid consultingservices in the region.

  • Participate conferences and association meetingsto stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and markettrends related to the energy sector and provide relevant insights to theorganization.

  • Guide customers on the potential benefits andrisks of adopting new technologies and entering new markets.

  • Develop strategies and plans to help customerssuccessfully navigate the challenges and opportunities associated withnew technologies and markets.

  • Development of study scopes & concepts:

  • Help customers define study scopes and conceptsthat align with their business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide expert advice on industry best practicesand emerging trends to inform the development of study scopes andconcepts.

  • Ensure that study scopes and concepts aretechnically sound and economically feasible.

  • Guide the Opportunity & Offer DevelopmentProcess:

  • Review & analyze the customer RfI / RfPdocuments and drive the bid decision in alignment with the businessdevelopment and sales teams

  • Provide expert advice on pricing strategies, riskevaluation, and value proposition development to enhance the company'scompetitiveness in the bidding process.

  • Develop and implement strategies to successfullynegotiate deal terms and execute contracts, ensuring that strategicobjectives are being met.

  • Drive the performance of the regional businessdevelopment effectively, providing sound and reliable financialforecasting & planning

What You Bring

  • Master’s degree in electrical power engineering orhigher.

  • 8 or more years of relevant professionalexperience in consulting within the energy sector and industry, with ademonstrated successful track record of a consulting project portfolio.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in transmissionplanning and operational studies (100 kV 765 kV), power systemperformance analyses including steady state analysis, dynamic stability,voltage stability, protection coordination and control system.

  • Deep understanding of ISO new resource applicationapproval processes and grid planning considerations. Relevant experienceworking and communicating with ISO, RTOs, utilities, and developers.

  • Advanced skills in HVDC applications, powertransmission systems, NERC compliance, power electronics and new resourcecommercial development.

  • Knowledge in renewable generation such as Wind andSolar is considered as a plus

  • Appreciation of electrical balance-of-plant andindustrial power supply concepts are a plus.

  • An analytical and strategic mindset, always eagerto explore and implement innovative solutions and applying problem-solvingskills within a consulting environment.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills,with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders;Proficient language skill in English is required.

  • Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 40%.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized foremployment in the United States without need for current or futureemployer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
