Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
Responsible for overall aircraft flow and paperwork accountability. Responsibilities range from complete event preplanning, aircraft induction and release process, daily flow and accountability ensuring aircraft is on track, and post check reporting. Liaise with multiple departments to resolve issues and maintain aircraft flow. Determine head count requirements to maintain required production levels. Report and analyze aircraft material costs. Shop responsibility to plan daily workload and develop long range plan for upcoming maintenance events. Manage repair order and job order to include shop authorization documentation, material requirements, and production velocity requirements. Interact with purchasing, technical planning, engineering to support shop events. Regulatory compliance review of all documentation. SR Production Controllers regularly step into maintenance supervisor rolls managing direct reports which require a solid understating and application of union work rules.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing, implementing and managing overall aircraft check flow
Daily management and workflow of aircraft or shop workloads to optimize resources
Building task assignments for oncoming shifts
Paperwork accountability and regulatory compliance
Status reporting and issue resolution
Forecasting and planning for necessary headcount
Pre-induction preparation and post check Analysis
Communications with multiple support departments to ensure required resources are available to maintain necessary production
Complete preplanning and detailed flow of event staged in manageable and logical sequence
Compile, analyze, and report on check performance
Cross event reporting and analysis
Manage support shop resources and workload
Coordinate shop resources for heavy check and in service aircraft
Manage Repair Orders and job Orders
Shop authorization
Required resources
Production velocity
Compile, analyze, and report on check performance
Regulatory compliance of maintenance documents

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Airframe and Powerplant License
10 years aircraft maintenance
Solid understanding of maintenance planning and execution
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Five years heavy aircraft maintenance and production control experience
Working Knowledge of SCEPTRE
