The J.M. Smucker Company Senior Analyst, Finance in Orrville, Ohio

Your Opportunity as the Senior Analyst, Sweet Baked Snacks (SBS) Finance Lead the financial analysis related to the Sweet Baked Snacks SBA within our Hostess and Voortman brand portfolio. Have the ability to expand your skill set and learn different aspects of finance within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry through our Financial Analyst Rotation Program to ensure growth and development every two years. Location: Orrville, OH Work Arrangements: Hybrid, 30% in office expectation In this role you will: Prepare financial analysis and projections for various initiatives Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end actuals and forecast Communicate actual and anticipated results through insightful dialogue and reporting Lead analysis and processes to support the development of the Annual Financial Plan and Long-Range Plan Understand how corporate, brand, customer and production planning/forecasting cycles interact to create financial outlook Provide fact-based decision support to business partners and leadership team(s) Perform pre/post initiative analysis and recommendations Partner with cross functional teams to ensure complete and accurate understanding of financial results and outlook; identify improvement opportunities and solutions, as appropriate Provide cross-functional business support to constituents (e.g., Marketing, Innovation, Brand Commercialization, etc.) by sharing financial perspective to inform business decisions Analyze business scenarios and communicate implications/outlook Maintain focus on business trends to deliver short and long-term objectives for the SBA or the Company. Support functional and cross-functional projects as needed. This may include process improvement, standardization, simplification, and technological advancement.
