JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Controller (Inst) (B) Business Title: Controller Employment Class: Limited FTE: 1.0 Compensation: \$106,300 - \$124,000 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: Limited Position Summary: Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Finance and Administration, the Controller is responsible for the technical accounting functions of the university including maintaining the general ledger and chart of accounts, internal controls, accounts payable/receivable, cash management and procurement. The Controller provides day-to-day leadership of a team of financial professionals. Additionally, the Controller represents the institution on finance-related administrative matters, establishes and maintains a consultative and collaborative working relationship with institutional units, and guides the development of strategy, processes, and policies to ensure accuracy and compliance in the institution\'s accounting functions. Responsibilities Reconciles and maintains the general ledger and chart of accounts Directs the maintenance, monitoring and preparation of university-wide financial records and reports and disseminates information to the appropriate stakeholders Develops, implements, maintains, and monitors finance-related institutional policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
