JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Counselor Business Title: Counselor Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: 1.0 FTE Compensation: \$49,700 - \$55,000 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: 12-month, annual, fixed term renewable Position Summary: The UWO Counseling Center has openings to join a talented, supportive, and fun counseling team in servicing our amazing Titan students. Our counselor positions provide individual and group counseling, crisis management, consultation, outreach and training and a wide array of positive psychology/wellness services. Responsibilities Provides professional mental health counseling and consultation services for the campus community, incorporates a brief therapeutic model to address the emotional and behavioral needs of students, creates developmental programming to increase healthy lifestyle and coping behaviors across campus, and provides strategic direction and advocacy for university mental health policy and initiatives.
