JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Teaching, Learning, Technology Specialist I Business Title: Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist Employment Class: Non-Instructional Academic Staff FTE: 1.0 Compensation: \$50,000 to \$56,300 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: Annual, Fixed-Term Terminal Position Summary: Reporting to the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Manager who directs the UW Oshkosh College of Nursing Simulation & Skills Lab, The Simulation Operations Specialist provides operational, technical, and support for delivery of all simulation activities in the UW Oshkosh College of Nursing Simulation Center. This position collaborates with faculty, staff, and leadership and will support, design, develop, and enhance instructional activities, programs, and curriculum. The Simulation Operations Specialist will utilize effective educational methodologies and technologies to meet organizational and learning needs. Typical hours: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm with occasional evening or weekend hours. Working remotely must be approved by the Simulation Director. Responsibilities Simulation and Skills lab Support - 70% Serve as simulator operator by programming, testing, and running scenarios with faculty, assuring that the facility and equipment are set up for teaching sessions Analyzes, tests, troubleshoots, resolves issues, and provides feedback regarding simulation learning technologies Understand the use and operation of different simulator technologies, ranging from anatomic models, task trainers, screen-based simulations to full body patient simulators, and virtual reality surgical...
