JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Systems Analyst (Developer) will enhance business capability through the information systems development while providing top level day-to-day system support. This role will work with other team members (IT, Project Managers, and Business Representatives) to effectively build new applications and solutions. Ensuring functional designs are stable, reliable, and scalable Information Technology (IT) systems. The role is also responsible for verifying production applications are operating at optimal levels through quality application delivery; and quickly and accurately correcting production issues as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsiblefor translatingfunctional specifications into technicalspecifications.

  • Prepareand install software solutionsbydetermininganddesigning system specifications,standards,andprogramming.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring of Development Team Members ontroubleshootingtechniquesandtechnicalinquiries.

  • Provide support for thebusiness day-to-day production by responding promptly and professionally to all production incidents.

  • Supportfixing applications through SIT, UAT, and post projectimplementation.

  • Understandand buildtechnicaldesigns that meet the development standardsof Technical Architect direction.

  • Determineoperationalfeasibility by evaluating analysis,problemdefinition, requirements, solutiondevelopment, and proposed solutions.

  • Learn,understand,and practice project methodology to assist guiding development teams through development life cycles to ensure project success within expected scope, budget,andtimeline.

  • Document andprotectsolutionsbydeveloping confidential flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts,code comments and clear code.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’sdegree in ComputerScience,Information Technology orequivalent.

  • Five(5)or more yearsofexperienceinSoftware Development, information Technology, or in a relatedarea.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability toprovide technical support and leadership.

  • Familiarity with a formal project methodology or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (Waterfall,Agile,etc.).

  • Experience working withappropriate programming languages,operating systems, and software.

  • Understanding for object-oriented programming and software development.

  • Experienceininformationsystemimplementationor change efforts.

  • Experience working with software design principals.

  • Ability to develop basedonprovided functional specifications.

  • Computeranalytic and problemsolving skills.

  • Excellentorganizational skills and ability to communicate withinternal/externalentities.

  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word,Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint,etc.
