Where You'll Work:

Our Owatonna, MN location is part of our Dry Beverage Division specializes in agglomeration and/or coating of nutraceuticals and functional food ingredients in some of your favorite dietary supplements and drinks! The site has approximately 50 employees that contribute to our involvement in product formulations, ingredient processing and particle coating solutions within the food and beverage and nutraceutical ingredient industries.

What You'll Do:

TheMaintenance Technicianperforms in-process repairs of equipmentduring production and performs scheduled, preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment during machine service. The primary function of thissecond shiftposition is to keep equipment running efficiently to meet production goals. You'll work with a supportive team and draw on your ability to understand, maintain, troubleshoot and/repair:

  • Motors and controls.

  • Pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical wiring.

  • Boilers (MN Specialized Boiler License required)

  • Piping systems sanitary for product flow, steam piping, and pneumatic.

  • Process equipment pumps, motors, filling, capping, labelers, packing, and sealing equipment.

  • VFD's, PLC's, 3phase wiring, high voltage, 120-480 VAC

  • HVAC

  • Clean manufacturing safety training, such as:OSHA 10, ISO 14001, cGMP, Sanitary environment, HazMat

  • MS products, Excel, Outlookand SAP, CAMS systems

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required, Two-year technical degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Boiler License (MN Specialized License with 1000:minimum, 2B or2C with 2000: ideal).

  • Prior work experience in food manufacturing environment.

  • Adherence to "Safety First, Safety Always" guidelines and ability to follow related policies and regulations.

  • Forklift and manlift experience and ability to pass in-house training.

  • Ability to o perate all test meters and tools required for the position.

  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.

  • Ability and willingness to work cooperatively in a multi-cultured environment.
