Jostens Sr. HR Coordinator in Owatonna, Minnesota

JOB TITLE: Sr. HR Coordinator

JOB TYPE: Salaried, Non-Exempt (Eligible for OT)

This role performs entry to mid-level HR functions, including administrative tasks, coordinating the onboarding/offboarding of employees, supporting HRBPs, and participating in various HR/location events or projects.

YOU HAVE:

  • Technical skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred HRIS and/or time-keeping systems experience. Preferred familiarity with ADP Workforce Now

  • Attention to detail. Self-directed with high attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Great communication skills. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Customer focus and a team player

  • Soft skills. Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy, and discretion

  • Experience. At least 1-2 years of entry-level Human Resources experience

  • Education. Equivalent combination of education and experience to a 4-year degree in HR or related field

YOU WILL:

  • Support. Be a vital source of HR information by responding to employee inquiries on site. Coordinate annual events including employee engagement survey, open-enrollment and performance review process

  • Update and maintain. Ensure the data integrity of ADP and other applicable HR databases while ensuring strict confidentiality at all times

  • Help. Screen candidates and provide feedback to hiring managers. Send selected candidates offer letter. Initiate and monitor onboarding process

  • Support. Support management with safety and employee relations activities such as overseeing safety committee, reporting safety metrics, hosting benefits/safety fairs, hosting local employee events and meetings
