Lockheed Martin Maintenance Technician in Owego, New York

Description: Perform preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on all production Manufacturing Equipment in (PWB) Printed Wire Board, (MTA) CNC machining center, (Test) Environmental Chambers, and (ABU) Board Assembly Departments. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems on all types of production manufacturing equipment. Plan and schedule PMs and projects with operations. Manage personal workloads utilizing the (CMMS) maintenance system. Support, drive, and help implement (CBM) Condition-Based Maintenance and (RCM) reliability centered maintenance. Candidate will be expected to be on a rotating weekend coverage schedule.

Basic Qualifications:

3 to 5 years experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance.

Full understanding and safe use of multimeters, test equipment, hand, and power tools.

U.S Citizenship Required.

Desired Skills:

Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems – (Allen Bradley PLC, level, temp, and conductivity Controls). Able to read complex schematics, and mechanical prints.

Experience in using proper PPE, operating forklifts, working in confined spaces, CMMS maintenance systems, LOTO, preventive maintenance programs, root cause analysis, and Reliability Centered Maintenance practices.

Have a full understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $51,800 - $99,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $59,600 - $107,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
