CareFirst Account Installation Specialist II (Remote) in Owings Mills, Maryland

PUROSE:

The Specialist, Account Installation II is responsible for the installation of more complex assigned accounts into core platforms and complimentary systems, including, but not limited to: development of the account structure and billing set up to align with documented account requirements, coordination of structure revisions, researching and resolving setup and structure issues, database management, and management of related administrative documents. Provide new hire support through training and pre-auditing as well as cross-training existing associates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform installation of more complex assigned accounts, including, but not limited to: development of the account structure and billing set up to align with documented account requirements, coordination of structure revisions, researching and resolving setup and structure issues, database management, and management of related administrative documents. Audit contract loads for adherence to quality measures and reporting standards.

  • Researching errors by comparing Account Management documentation against multiple internal systems. Reconciling reports and group set up discrepancies, as well as analyzing transactional data and retroactive eligibility changes.

  • Update internal databases to maintain tracking information. Monitor daily report for inventory control.

  • Responsible for new hire support through training and pre-auditing as well as cross-training existing associates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3 years insurance industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Interpersonal skills to interact with departments.,

  • Analytical and problem resolution skills.

  • Excellent oral/written communications skills.

  • Can handle multiple and shifting priorities,

  • Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads that can be variable for long periods of time. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging. Salary Range: $35,568 - $65,208
