Qualifications: ? ? Custodial experience preferred ? High School diploma or equivalent required? ? Valid driver's license with good driving record? ? Excellent attendance record required? ? Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 90 pounds on some occasions ? ? Must be friendly, tactful and project a sincere desire to serve and help people? ? A problem solver who clearly focuses on facts, remains objective and handles unexpected obstacles successfully? ? Must be able to follow rules and procedures easily and effectively? ? Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.? ? Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before small groups of employees of organization.? ? Ability to pass a district written and physical test. ? ? Successful experience in most duties as described on the job description posted in each building. ? Must be able to wear and operate a backpack vacuum cleaner ? Able to provide safe and efficient operation of a backpack vacuum for the required shift Duration. ? Able to maintain vacuuming equipment in peak operational condition. ? Able and willing to participate in and contribute to a team approach for cleaning. ? Must be able to work additional required hours before or after the regular shift as necessary to cover building activities, or to work additional hours in other buildings as needed. ? Must be able to work additional hours required before the regular shift during inclement weather
