Olin Winchester LLC Quality Verification Technician - 12867 / Oxford in Oxford, Mississippi

This Position is for a Quality Verification Technician with a work location in Oxford, MS.

Summary: The Quality Verification Technician is responsible for performing a variety of inspections and audits associated with all processes in multiple departments.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Support manufacturing operations in the Quality Verification functions. Use precision measuring instruments, gauges, and scales to measure specified variables for each of the assigned manufacturing processes; Perform detail visual inspections of product. Utilize appropriate RCRA procedures to conduct hazardous waste tasks as assigned. Interpret and follow inspections plans and work authorization. Ensure daily reports are accurate and legible; Accurately enter data into spreadsheets or Infinity QS software.

Location-Specific Requirements: This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Education and Qualification: This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. Proficient in English language with reading, writing, and speaking. Must be able to attend orientation and training on 1st shift (7:30a-3:30p) before transitioning to primary assignment. Training could take up to six (6) weeks to complete.
