Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Oxford Twp, Ohio. The role will revolve around managing our fiscal operations in line with generally accepted accounting principles, International Financial Reporting Standards, and industry-specific financial management techniques. This position will involve working closely with the Controlling department, overseeing financial reporting, and participating in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance

• Collaborate with Controlling to ensure accurate accounting records and proper cost attribution

• Oversee monthly financial reporting, Balanced Score Card updates, and variance explanations

• Prepare quarterly IFRS reports for the German parent company

• Participate in the analysis of all financial aspects of the business

• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning and regulatory action

• Help identify and mitigate financial risks

• Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to improve the financial operation and effectiveness of the corporation

• Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline

• Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position

• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting

• Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Demonstrable knowledge of General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP

• Prior experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Familiarity with accounting regulations and standards

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be advantageous
