Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a skilled Contracts Specialist to join our Legal team in Inchinnan, Paisley, Scotland, UK. This opportunity can be based at our Inchinnan (Glasgow) site or 100% remote working is available.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial agreements

• Support and lead negotiations with third parties and/or customers

• Contribute to contract template standardization and process improvement initiatives

• Consult with other parts of the organisation on the interpretation of agreements in effect or in development

• Educate and train employees on their roles in contract negotiations and obligations under contracts and legal requirements

• Collaborate with the Global Legal team, Commercial Licensing and Sales teams, IP and Procurement

Requirements:

• Law degree in a UK jurisdiction or at least three years of experience in a contracts-focused role

• Strong working knowledge of contract law

• Experience in contract negotiation and drafting

• Excellent commercial awareness and business sense

• Experience with technology and automation

• Ability to engage and influence business partners

• Fluent in English

• Ability to handle high-volume workloads effectively and efficiently
