Job Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP) / Client Services Banking Officer

Reports to: Vice President of Client Services

Job Summary: The Assistant Vice President (AVP) / Client Services Banking Officer is responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and identifying opportunities to deepen client engagement with the bank's products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and a deep understanding of banking operations and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, acting as their primary point of contact within the bank.

  • Understand clients' financial needs and objectives to provide tailored banking solutions.

  • Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.

Service Delivery:

  • Ensure high standards of service delivery to clients, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes and improve client experience.

  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.

Client Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.

  • Develop and execute client retention strategies to minimize attrition.

  • Cross-sell and upsell banking products and services, contributing to the bank's revenue goals.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to client services and relationships.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in banking.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in banking, with a focus on client services and relationship management.

  • Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships and achieving business development targets.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant banking systems.
