POWDR Retail Director - Woodward Global in PARK CITY, Utah

The Retail Director is responsible for driving retail revenue by owning the Woodward retail process which includes bi-annual catalog creation, athlete and brand partner collaborations, e-comm platform, on-site merchandising and marketing campaign work. As a leadership member within the Woodward Global Marketing & Sales Team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales, the Retail Director will create new strategies at to global level and work with each Business Unit to drive revenue across the Woodward Platform. We are looking for someone to redefine the Woodward retail strategy and go-forward plan. This includes evaluating current processes and partners, establishing new operating mechanics and building a vision for the way forward as Woodward expands into new locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Be an innovator. Deliver comprehensive design concepts, stay tapped into the pulse of future design trends and apply this thinking to the seasonal creative direction for Woodward's direct retail ecosystem -- online and on-site. * Create new brand collaborations by identifying key brands in the action sports space that align with Woodward's vision and work together to create meaningful products. * Liaison with Sports Marketing team and Woodward athletes to develop new athlete collaborations which drive incremental revenue to the business. * Create new Woodward retail experiences both on-site at Woodward locations and off-site at branded events. * Lead ongoing retail reporting across all Woodward locations -- providing a singular view, insights and best practices. * Be the owner of Shopcampwoodward.com. Including but not limited to platform optimizations, sales reports, product photography, product descriptions, CRM campaigns. * Establish campaign KPIs and work with the Marketing Director to deliver a campaign that achieves high ROIs. * Manage day to day owned platform and campaign needs to ensure revenue goals are being met. * Supports and partners with Creative Director to lead seasonal vision, strategic and tactical direction, and design continuity. * Lead the product design and catalog design of the bi-annual Woodward Catalog in partnership with the Creative Director. * Secure and manage production partner, sourcing of samples all the way through product design and delivery. * Lead ongoing photoshoots for new product -- coordinate product priorities, freelance needs and talent. * Develop strong relationships with all retail buyers across the Woodward platform and assist with ongoing retail needs including seasonal buying and on-site merchandising. * Provide leadership and mentoring on an ongoing basis. * Lead contract development and negotiations in partnerships with POWDR Legal team for any new brand/ athlete partner. SKILLS & EXPERTISE: * A strategic, collaborative and creative team leader, who will develop impactful / scalable design solutions for immersive retail environments and experiences. * Ideate creative concepts, illustrate ideas and be hands on as you lead projects to completion. * Manage design processes and team to ensure results, timelines and budgets are met. * Communicates and presents design concepts to all levels of management. Proven ability to work upstream, effectively elevate strategic concerns, assert influence in final outcomes. * Strong grasp of business strategy planning, monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. * Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport strong relationships across the Woodward business.
