Robert Half Contract Specialist in Parsippany, New Jersey

Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Parsippany, NJ area, is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage contract creation, negotiation, and execution. This role involves ensuring compliance with legal guidelines and company policies, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating smooth contract administration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, including supply agreements, service contracts, and non-disclosure agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with legal standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation within the contract management system.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Procurement) and external stakeholders to ensure timely contract execution and delivery.

  • Monitor contract performance and enforce compliance with terms and conditions.

  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring timely action and documentation.

  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters and best practices.

  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.

  • Resolve contract-related issues and disputes, escalating to legal counsel when necessary.

  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure contract compliance and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Prepare and present reports on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics to senior management.

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Contract management

  • Proven experience in contract administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of legal contract terminology and principles.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
