Mid-size and growing manufacturing company with a major plant / office site located in Western Morris County is seeking a Controller. This position will report to the CFO, and oversee all accounting operations, month end close and financial reporting to the Private Equity owners. This is a HANDS-ON position but will also have leadership responsibilities and oversee a team of 5 accounting professionals. MUST have Manufacturing industry experience including some knowledge of cost and inventory. Experience with reporting to Private Equity ownership is a major plus as well. The company uses ORACLE which is a plus, but any major ERP system experience will be acceptable. CPA / MBA preferred but not required here. Looking for 7+ years of strong hands-on accounting experience with at least 3 years at a Management level, working in mid-size manufacturing companies. Will also assist with working with the Auditors as well and year end accounting responsibilities. The company offers a competitive compensation package in the $145-175K range plus a sizable year-end bonus, depending on experience and including good benefits. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office / 2 days remote. Very nice office location and environment in Northwestern NJ as well.
