Naval Air Systems Command HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST (INFORMATION SYSTEMS) in Patuxent River, Maryland

Summary You will serve as a Human Resource Specialist (Information Systems) in the Human Capital Management Group within the Business Intelligence and Data Analyitcs Dept. of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will provide workforce data to ensure value-added decision-making capabilities and assists managers to define total force management and workforce shaping objectives, strategies, programs, and plans. You will participate in process development, data collection, analysis, forecasting and presentation of workforce data, and participates in the subsequent customer satisfaction evaluation process. You will assist in designing briefs, worksheets, documents, and forms to be used to gather, transmit or present data. You will conduct studies related to current and future information/data requirements as related to organizational mission plans and operations and recommends solutions for providing the data via automated processes. You will perform analysis of NAWCAD, NAVAIR, PEO and team-wide workforce data in a variety of HR program areas Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band (DA-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Knowledge of DCPDS data in relation to application systems which analyze and present workforce data. 2.) Ability to utilize Qlik dashboards. 3.) Knowledge of the NAWCAD organizational breakdown structure. 4.) Ability to work independently while in a geographically dispersed Microsoft Teams environment. 5.) Knowledge of personnel management principle and techniques in correlation to data analytics.
