The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Program Manager to support our potential government customer located in Patuxent River, MD.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis.

  • Lead and guide the work of technical staff.

  • May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.

  • Acts as the overall lead, manager and administrator for the effort.

  • Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues.

  • Oversees contractor personnel program/project operations.

  • Organizes, directs and coordinates the planning and production of all contract and subcontract support activities.

  • Other duties as needed.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • BS or BA degree in Business Administration or other "Relevant Managerial Discipline".

  • An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS

  • An additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA / BS.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least six (6) years of professional experience in office operation / management support.

  • A minimum of 5 years supervisory/Team Lead experience desired.

  • Must have direct experience supporting a Chief of Staff for a major Legislative or Department of Defense (DoD) Echelon Command / Secretariat; experience supporting a Navy or Marine Corps Command Element preferred.

  • Experience in performing financial and administrative requirements, to include project controls, strategic management procedures and senior level communication is also required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to management, operations and life-cycle management of military acquisition programs.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain an active Secret clearance.
